Altar Servers

Boys and girls - and retired men - assist the priest at Mass and other ceremonies.  Any boy or girl who has made his or her First Holy Communion is eligible to become an altar server.  All would be very welcome.  After serving for a year the servers are enrolled into the Arch-Confraternity of St.Stephen.

Ministers of Holy Communion

The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priests in the distribution of the Eucharist at Mass and bring the Eucharist to those who are housebound.

Ministers of the Word

Ministers of the Word are an important part of our community as they proclaim the Word of God at Mass and pray the Prayers of the Faithful.

St Peter & St Paul’s have rotas for each Mass and over festive times such as Easter and Christmas.  They are issued well in advance of the Mass, therefore all readers will have enough time to understand their own reading, and deliver it with meaning at their Mass. If you are interested in becoming a Reader, please speak to the Parish Priest.
