Baptism

Baptism is the Sacrament of Faith; when parents bring their child for baptism they are
affirming their own Faith, as well as bringing their child into the faith community - the
Church.  Baptism is often called the gateway to life in the Spirit, the door of access to the
other Sacraments.

Infant baptism is the form in which this Sacrament is conferred. There is a period of
preparation for parents who ask to have their children baptised. Preparation is carried out
roughly quarterly by catechists and parents wishing for baptism are asked to enroll for the
course with the priest after Mass.

Baptism normally take place on Sundays after the 11:30am Mass at 1:00pm.
