Join thousands of people from all over England & Wales at a weekend-long celebration of our faith at the National Eucharistic Congress in Liverpool. There is day-long symposium on Friday 7th Sept, and the main event is on Saturday 8th Sept, along with a separate Youth Event for those aged 13 to 20 years. Masses & a Eucharistic procession will take place on Sunday 9 September, and there is also a parallel programme throughout the weekend in the churches around the city centre. The keynote speaker at the main event & youth event on Saturday is Bishop Robert Barron, known worldwide for his “Word on Fire” internet ministry. We are sending four representatives from our parish, Charles & Sharon Gillott and Mike and Mary Kenny, who will report back to the parish after the event.
