The Holy Father Pope Francis will open the Holy Door at St Peter’s Basilica on Christmas Eve, marking the beginning of the Jubilee Year, the theme for which is Pilgrims of Hope. In every Diocese across the world, the beginning of the Jubilee Holy Year is to be marked by the celebration of Mass in each Cathedral on
29 December 2024. Bishop Marcus will celebrate the 11:00am Mass at Leeds Cathedral on that day. Everyone welcome.

Our Lent Prayer Group will meet in the chapel at 11.00am on Wednesdays starting on 25th February and continuing for 5 weeks. We're interested in hearing from anyone who would like to be a reader at Mass, a Eucharistic Minister or a catechist who would help prepare our young people for First Reconciliation (Confession), First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
