LOURDES NURSES VOLUNTEER APPEAL: Are you a qualified nurse? Would you like to join the diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes (3-9 July 2026)? Please contact: lourdes.enquiries@dioceseofleeds.org.uk for further information. We desperately need registered nurses to join the team to enable our assisted pilgrims to travel to Lourdes. This is a wonderful experience, and many nurses return year after year. Please consider joining our friendly, happy team of volunteers and enjoy a truly blessed week
with our assisted pilgrims.

Saturday Vigil Mass Time We revert to the consultative decision of last autumn, specifically 5.30pm. Thank you to all who participated in the deliberations
10 - 11th October. This year, after major Eucharistic events in Liverpool and Birmingham, the Adoremus Eucharistic Festival turns to London over two days. The event will include Mass in Southwark Cathedral, a keynote address, a procession of the Blessed Sacrament, Benediction and an all-night vigil in Westminster Cathedral. More details to follow.
JOIN BISHOP MARCUS IN PRAYING FOR VOCATIONS: Our Lady of Unfailing Help! Pray that the Lord of the Harvest will send labourers into His harvest and that He will grant an abundance of vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and religious life within the Diocese of Leeds, and throughout the world. Amen.
Remembering Shelagh Travis – A Flower Demonstration by Anne Jordan Monday 6th July 2pm in the Parish Centre
A Free Guided Tour will take place on the following Saturdays during the spring and summer months: 18 July and 8 August, when the tours start at 1.30pm. The tour lasts about 1 hour. No booking is required. On arrival, please gather by the Baptismal Font at the back of the Cathedral.
All carers and the person they are caring for are invited to join us for a special Mass to celebrate the wonderful and important work of unpaid carers across the diocese. Saturday 11th July 12pm, Leeds Cathedral, Great George Street, Leeds, LS2 8BE . A sandwich lunch will be served in Cathedral Hall after Mass.
