Remembering Shelagh Travis – A Flower Demonstration by Anne Jordan Monday 6th July  2pm in the Parish Centre

All carers and the person they are caring for are invited to join us for a special Mass to celebrate the wonderful and important work of unpaid carers across the diocese. Saturday 11th July 12pm, Leeds Cathedral, Great George Street, Leeds, LS2 8BE . A sandwich lunch will be served in Cathedral Hall after Mass. Thank you to all parishioners who handed in their red boxes in May and June. All boxes have now been emptied and placed in the Narthex. A final sum of £349 has been banked.

Angela will open her garden on Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August 2026, tickets are priced at £5. Come along and relax with tea/coffee and a scone. Our Lady of Unfailing Help! Pray that the Lord of the Harvest will send labourers into His harvest and that He will grant an abundance of vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and religious life within the Diocese of Leeds, and throughout the world. Amen.

A Free Guided Tour will take place on the following Saturdays during the spring and summer months: 18 July and 8 August, when the tours start at 1.30pm. The tour lasts about 1 hour. No booking is required. On arrival, please gather by the Baptismal Font at the back of the Cathedral.

Our Prayer Group - Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 15 July at 11.00am when we will pray in the knowledge that we are God's children. This will be our last meeting before the summer break. All are welcome. For more information please contact Christine (07950 794325).

Annual Parish Picnic on Sunday 5th July from 11.45 to 3pm -- Everyone welcome. Join in with others and meet friends old and new. Bring and share food. The list / book is situated in the Narthex near to the entrance, if you could complete your family surname, number attending and shared items please. Thank you. Welcome to bring alcohol to consume on site. Raffle tickets prizes shall be drawn on the day. Games and activities provided. This year our retreat will take place over the weekend from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November . The cost will probably be in the region of  £200-£210 and this includes all meals from Friday teatime to Sunday lunch.
