A Free Guided Tour will take place on the following Saturdays during the spring and summer months: 18 July and 8 August, when the tours start at 1.30pm. The tour lasts about 1 hour. No booking is required. On arrival, please gather by the Baptismal Font at the back of the Cathedral.

Four evening meetings beginning Monday 1st June also 8th, 15th and 22nd at 7 –8:30pm in Canon O’Grady Hall, Normanton. With the success of the Deanery Masses last year these talks and discussion are aimed at the Deanery and will be given by Provost Canon Aveyard, PP of Castleford and Fr Mark Naughton PP of Normanton. The first will be on the site, development and recent archaeology of the Holy Sepulchre (the tomb of the Lord) in Jerusalem. Provost Aveyard will lead the second and third sessions on the Eucharist, its development and meaning. Everyone is welcome and there will be refreshments available.
