Aged 18-25 and looking for a new challenge? The Diocese of Lancaster has a Youth Ministry team based in Keswick. They run retreats at Castlerigg Manor and also work in Churches and schools around the area. The ‘Youth Ministry Internship’ scheme offers training, experience, and recognised qualifications giving young people the chance to join a welcoming community and a vibrant team doing some amazing work.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the prayer garden through donations of money, plants, and equipment, or by helping with digging and weeding. Together you raised £310. After initial plant purchases, there’s approximately £62 left over to purchase spring bulbs. Special thanks to Andrea for installing the external tap. This Sunday sees the last session before the summer break and our catechists enjoy a well-earned break. We recommence on Sunday 6th September.
